This wall damage in Urbana, created by a leaking window, went deeper than just the paint layer. The wall was squishy in spots and had developed mold into the drywall. The wall had already been patched once, evidently before the source of leakage was repaired.
By the time New Prairie got there, the leak had been taken care of, and we were able to demo, remediate the mold, replace the damaged drywall, scrape any loose paint, and mud and prime the wall. The sill was then reinstalled, and all was ready for the homeowner to paint.
